Rev. Nicholas Dougherty
Rev. Nicholas Dougherty joined Faithful Shepherd as Pastor on July 1, 2013. He received his Masters of Divinity from of the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary and Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Pastor Nick is passionate about helping others develop and nurture a deep relationship with God through worship, Spiritual practices, missional service, and evangelism through the active sharing of the faith.
Nick and his wife Suzanne (who met at Presbyterian Youth Triennium in 2001) have two girls, a simple house in the neighborhood, and a blue Subaru that is racking up the miles. Other than just trying to keep up with his family, he enjoys running around Lake Zorinsky, golfing, reading interesting books, telling uninteresting (and unfunny) dad jokes, and taking his girls to Fontenelle Forest.
D.J. has been the Director of Music since 2008, directing activities for both the choir and Sounds of Shepherds instrumental group, and recently formed, Faithful Fusion, a contemporary praise band. He is a longtime member of our congregation and has served in a variety of worship roles. D.J. is a graduate of Bradley University with a bachelor's degree in music education. D.J. also has a master's degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Linda joined us in 2010 as administrative assistant and financial secretary. Linda is married to Ken and they have two sons and three grandchildren.
