  Reverend Nick Dougherty

  • Pastor Nick was born and raised in Nebraska. He and his wife, Suzanne, met when they were sixteen. They’ve been together ever since!

  • He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Nebraska and a Master of Divinity from Dubuqe Theological Seminary.

  • In 2013, he received his first pastoral call to Faithful Shepherd, and has served the congregation ever since.

  • Passions and daily rituals include pre-dawn prayer with a hot cup of coffee, reading the bible with a good commentary, and researching church size dynamics.

  • Pastor Nick and Suzanne are the proud parents of three young girls and one middle-aged miniature poodle.

What You Might Want To Know

  • Worship is dynamic and intergenerational: together we sing, pray, hear God's Word read and proclaimed, and are sent out to serve.

  • The Lords Supper is typically served the First Sunday of each month at 10:00 A.M. and all are welcome to partake.

  • Choral, instrumental, and praise music are offered during the Church School Year (September through May). We also love seeing our youth express their praise through solos, liturgical dance, and more in our time of worship.

  • During worship, nursery care is provided (0 - pre-K).  Families are also welcome to worship together. Parents, the choice is yours.

  • There is no "dress code". Come as you are, everyone is welcome!

  • Please stay for coffee and fellowship in the Family Life Center following worship.
