Interim Pastor Vickie Kintzel

Pastor Vickie Kintzel is the Interim Pastor at Faithful Shepherd Presbyterian Church. Her experience and skills in helping churches re-energize and re-envision mission and ministry after the departure of a beloved pastor are among the gifts she brings to us.

A graduate of San Francisco Theological Seminary (M.Div. 1991), she served for a decade as associate pastor in Illinois, and as interim pastor in Colorado, Illinois, Wyoming, Colorado (again, different church) and now here. Her husband, Jay, remains in their home in Longmont, CO due to his employment there. Their grown son lives in the same town with his family, and their grown daughter lives in Belleville, IL with her family. Vickie has an apartment here and commutes home to CO every several weeks.

Pastor Vickie believes that God is at work in every time and place, and is excited to be part of the work of transition. It is a time of challenge, energizing reflection, and the excitement of discovering what God is about to do in and through the congregation.

Buffie Denning

Buffie joined us as the Director of Christian Education in 2008 after having served as the chair of the Christian Education team. Buffie is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Omaha with a bachelor's degree in elementary education and an endorsement in early childhood education. E-mail Buffie.

DJ Divoky

DJ is the Director of Music for Faithful Shepherd. He is a long-time member of this congregation and has served in a a variety of worship roles. DJ is a graduate of Bradley University with a bachelor's in music education. DJ also has a master's degree from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. E-mail DJ.

Linda Hermsen

Linda is the administrative assistant at Faithful Shepherd and joined us in 2010. Linda is married to Ken and they have two sons and two grandchildren. E-mail Linda.
